Meet Jeff Stehman

I feel I've spent a good part of  my life volunteering or working in areas that have given me strong qualifications to be Collinsville's next Mayor. Allow me to share some of my background with you.

• Collinsville City Councilman, 2015 - Present
• IL Municipal League Public Health and Safety Policy Committee Member,  2022 - Present
• Executive Director of the IL Council of Code Administrators, 2017 - Present
• City of O'Fallon Building and Zoning Supervisor, 1997 - 2017
• Owned and operated Collinsville business, 1974-2011
• Collinsville Planning Commission, 1992 - 2007 (Three Years as Chairman)
• President of Illinois Council of Code Administrators, 2012 - 2016
• Co-Chair of Collinsville Government Study Committee, 1988
• Chairman of Citizens for Council-Manager Government, 1989
• Collinsville Police Officer, 1972 - 1975
• U.S. Air Force Reserves, 1968 - 1974
• Ranken Technical College Graduate, 1968 
• Collinsville High School Graduate, 1966

My wife Linda and I are both lifelong Collinsville residents, and together we have four children and seven grandchildren.  We're both "mostly" retired, and enjoy the time with family and our volunteer activities.
